Candice Hafield, Cogent’s finance director, oversees the firm’s human resources and financial operations including budgeting and financial reporting, strategic planning, payroll, accounts payable and receivable and billing. Candice assists Cogent clients with comprehensive reporting, billing, contracts and other administrative functions.

Candice joined Cogent with more than a decade of experience in financial management. She previously served as the director of finance and compliance at a D.C.-based government and public relations firm. Early on in her career, Candice oversaw billing and administrative functions for a Virginia-based law firm.

Candice currently serves as the treasurer and designer for the non-profit NOVA Cheer, a youth cheerleading organization serving Fairfax County in Virginia. She holds a Certificate in Accounting from the University of Virginia and a BS in Business Administration from the ITT Technical Institute.
