WASHINGTON (June 25, 2024) – Cogent Strategies today announced that Gina Mahony, a veteran Democratic strategist with more than 25 years of experience, will join the firm as a Managing Director.
Mahony, who has run her own successful consultancy, Domer Consulting, since 2016, will integrate her skills, clients and policy smarts into Cogent Strategies’ public affairs practice.
During her tenure on Capitol Hill, Mahony served as a Senior Policy Advisor to House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer and held key positions with several Democratic members of Congress, including two founding members of the New Democrat Coalition. Her experience also includes roles at the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools and Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck.
