Biography

With a background in congressional communications, Phoebe Ferraiolo brings to Cogent clients insight into the messages and messengers that resonate on Capitol Hill and beyond.

Phoebe joined Cogent from Senator Susan Collins’ (R-ME) office where she most recently served as deputy press secretary. In this role, Phoebe fielded press inquiries, oversaw social media platforms, staffed events and drafted press statements, releases and other messaging materials. Phoebe regularly engaged with fellow Senate communications teams and developed meaningful contacts with national, Beltway and Maine media outlets. While with Senator Collins, Phoebe supported the roll-out of the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), which provided a lifeline to millions of small businesses hard-hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. She also supported the Senator’s successful reelection campaign, volunteering her time to help win Senator Collins a historic fifth term.

Prior to joining Senator Collins, Phoebe worked as a field representative for former Senator Kelly Ayotte’s (R-NH) campaign. She began her career as a Fox News production assistant where she covered the 2016 presidential election spanning from the New Hampshire Primary to the 58th U.S. Presidential Inauguration.

A native of coastal Maine, Phoebe spent her summers waitressing at a lobster shack where she had the pleasure of serving such distinguished guests as Chief Justice John Roberts. Phoebe is an active member of the Saint Anselm College D.C. Alumni Association and the Senate Press Secretary Association.
